Readers Are Raving About Until I Am Dust
From an elaborate plot to captivating characters, wistful romance to imminent danger, this book has it all! The dystopian-western setting is enough to grab your attention, but you’ll stick around for the unique and powerful characters. Each one of them clearly and very thoughtfully crafted by the author. The imagery in this book is so vivid, you can’t help but picture yourself inside the story - making trips to the general store, trying to avoid government drones, and finding solace in your faith and chosen family. This is a great book for any type of reader and I can’t wait for book two!
I have just about as much time for writing reviews as I have for reading books - which is not much - and for this book, I am doing both. If that isn’t review enough in itself, let me go on.
My desire for selecting this novel revolved around a few preferences: Christian-based without being corny, a believable storyline with relatable characters, imagery and description that keeps me captivated, and sweet hints of romance that don’t make me squirm and blush uncomfortably. This book satisfies each one. I was instantly pulled into the storyline from page 1. I then continued reading and finished the entire book in one afternoon, not because it’s short or a simple read, but because it was that good. I read through my kids’ noise (hey, sometimes mom needs a book reading afternoon!), my husband’s dinner making, and will be up late working tonight since I couldn’t set the book down today once I picked it up.
I cherish my copy, hope to meet the author in person someday so she can sign my book, and I’m going to pick up additional copies as gifts for others who I know will love it as much as I did. I would highly recommend giving book 1 a read so you’re ready when book 2 and the rest of the series comes out. I can’t wait for more
